2010 Upcoming Elections
  • Fall Primary                                          Tuesday, September 14*

*In-person absentee voting is now available for all City of Milwaukee residents for the Fall Primary. The location is 841 North Broadway, Room 102 (Municipal Zeidler Building).  The hours of operation are Monday through Friday from 8:30am to 4:30pm. The last day will be Monday, September 13th.

  • Fall General Election                           Tuesday, November 2
With the busy Fall elections fast approaching, you should make sure you are registered at your current address. Voter registration is required if you have moved or changed your name since last voting, you are new to Milwaukee, or never voted. Click on the link (below) to download a voter registration application and then mail it to the Election Commission. Please read the voter application thoroughly and attach a proof of residence document (if applicable). You may also register at any Milwaukee Public Library or in-person at our office. The deadline to register by mail or at the Milwaukee Public Library is August 25th. After August 25th, you can only register to vote in-person at our office or at your voting site on Election Day. Visit the Voter Public Access site to confirm that you are registered to vote, view your voter history, and determine where to vote.  The site also provides information on current office holders and allows voters to view sample ballots.
